What a video depth map can tell you

Relative distance, color maps and why it is not a metric measurement.

Relative, not metric

Video Depth Anything produces an estimated relative scene ordering. An 8-bit visualization does not measure meters and is not suitable for navigation, safety or surveying.

Choose a color map

Grayscale shows normalized intensity. Turbo, Inferno, Magma and Viridis provide alternative visual contrast. Side-by-side output pairs the source with the depth visualization.

Check the limits

The upload limit is 50 MB, 60 seconds and 2,400 frames. The server measures duration for the 3.4 credits per second quote and rounds up once. H.264 MP4 output is limited to 1080p.
